Scientific Issues of Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University. Series: Biology is a collection of scientific papers containing the main results of research and review articles in biology, biochemistry, and biotechnology. The collection is intended for lecturers, researchers, postgraduate students, and higher education applicants.
The aim of the collection is to create a professional platform for publishing the results of fundamental and applied scientific research in biology, biochemistry, and biotechnology, facilitating the exchange of experience among scientists, and promoting the development of science in Ukraine.
Objectives:
- Scientific communication: development of an open platform for the prompt dissemination of high-quality new knowledge among domestic and foreign specialists.
- Approbation and verification of dissertation research results: ensuring official publication of the achievements of candidates for academic degrees (PhD, Doctor of Sciences) and academic titles in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
- Support of scientometric indicators: publication of scientific results to ensure successful certification of academic staff, evaluation of the effectiveness of higher education institutions, and grant support for scientific projects.
Articles written in Ukrainian or English that comply with the author guidelines and have received positive peer-review recommendations are accepted for publication.
The planned frequency of publication is four issues per year.

The collection is included in the list of professional scientific publications approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine, in which the main results of dissertations for obtaining the degrees of Doctor of Sciences and PhD may be published.

The editorial board adheres to the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding publication ethics.
Due to the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine, the editorial board requests authors not to use references to Russian-language sources. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a law prohibiting the use of information sources from the aggressor state or occupying state in educational programs, as well as in scientific and scientific-technical activities.
